*Tanglewood Health & Rehab is searching for an experienced and dedicated LPN/RN to join our HMG Team!*https://www.tanglewoodhealthandrehabilitation.com/_*$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS**__*$27-$29/hr LPN*__*$30-$32/hr RN*_* _*Full-time available *_* _*12 hour shifts*_* _*PRN avail (no sign on)*_*Job Responsibilities*As the *RN/LPN*, you will supervise the nursing unit and coordinate the effective use of personnel, supplies, equipment and facilities. Additional responsibilities include:* Reviewing staffing patterns and census of nursing units; reassigning personnel when necessary to ensure residents needs and budgetary controls are met* Managing and analyzing patient care following admission/readmission; conducting initial assessment for newly admitted or readmitted patients* Assisting in creating and implementing care plans that address individual residents' needs* Administering medications, IV therapy, gastronomy tube management as well as some wound care* Monitoring residents and communicating changes to physicians* Ensuring appropriate documentation of resident care and maintaining medical records to ensure safe, efficient and therapeutic care to residents* Troubleshooting and investigating complaints, taking necessary action to resolve problems as necessaryAdditionally, you must have:* RN or LPN License, in good standing* 1 year of experience as a nurse, experience in a long term care facility preferred* Effective communication skills* Ability to organize, prioritize and maintain confidentiality and react decisively in emergencies* Exceptional supervisory skills, taking a proactive role to supervising and developing nursing team* Excellent training skills, ability to provide hands-on training to nursing staff* Good problem solving and independent thinking skills* Case management skills, comfort with client relations*Benefits:*We are _*equally committed to both our residents and employees *_and have created an environment that promotes professional and personal growth.
