Job Description:

This is a full-time legal assistant position in a fast-paced, high-volume agency/law firm.----Our office requires specialized skillsets and offers you the detailed on-the-job training you need.----Daily tasks will include data entry, preparing and distributing documents and correspondence, as well as handling inbound customer relation phone calls regarding cases.

Responsibilities:
--- Prepare, maintain and distribute paperwork, reports and other documents.
--- Learn and implement legal policies and procedures to navigate cases through the legal environment.
--- Perform other related duties as assigned.
--- Job requires a specialized skillset, therefore we will provide on-the-job training.
--- Act as a point of contact for complaints or questions from customers.

Qualifications:
--- Two years of office experience or associate's degree
--- Detail-oriented and efficient in computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office suite as well as being open to being trained on our in-house systems)
--- A desire to use critical thinking skills in demanding situations with confidence in ability and training.
--- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, multi-task, and make good decisions in accordance with laws and legal ethics.
--- Willingness to work well with others and communicate effectively with clients, peer staff, supervisors, and attorneys.
